Your 4th of July Slushy Starter Kit Is Inside!
Reader are you hosting for the 4th? This month’s newsletter has your complete Slushy Starter Kit — with clickable links to everything you need. From a 55% off deal on the newly redesigned EcoViva slushy machine, to patriotic color-changing cups that explode with red, white & blue, to sweet (and spicy) rimmers that level up your drinks — and yes, even tips to keep ants off your patio. If you want to rock your BBQ with less mess and more flair, don’t skip this one.
The backyard was packed—cousins laughing, lawn games everywhere, the smoker going strong, and the soundtrack of summer in full swing. My 8-year-old nephew, Riley, grinning ear to ear, poured his absolute favorite: a strawberry banana slushy. He took one sip, set it down, and ran off to chase bubbles.
Twenty minutes later? A melted mess—and a parade of ants throwing their own 4th of July bash!
That’s when I knew we needed a better cup setup.
Now we use color-changing cups that burst into red, white, and blue when filled. The kids love refilling them, and the lids and straws keep spills under control. They even double as party décor—like little fireworks on every table.
For the older crew, stainless steel tumblers keep drinks icy cold, no matter how long the cornhole match lasts.
It’s still joyful, organized chaos—but now with zero spills, easy cleanup, and not a single ant invited.
The One Thing Your 4th of July Party Can’t Be Without!
I’ve been talking about EcoViva’s Countertop Tooler Slushie Machine for a couple of months now, and there’s a reason it made the cut in last month’s newsletter. Since then, EcoViva has launched a brand new version—now in sleek black instead of the original gray—and they’ve upgraded the display from basic white to full RGB digital lighting. It’s a small change with a big impact. PLUS for MultiCasking fans...it's 55% off until June 30th!
Now, if you’ve followed my Extreme Christmas Light Obsession, you already know I’m a sucker for RGB. I’ve worked with ABC’s The Great Christmas Light Fight, helping discover new contestants and staying in touch with many of the people behind the show. So yeah—RGB anything is basically an invitation for me to check it out. But this new EcoViva machine isn’t just pretty lights and no substance. It actually does something 90% of slushie machines can’t: it makes a true slushie out of low- or no-sugar recipes.
Seriously—check out this video where I make a transfusion slushie with zero added sugar. No syrups, no mixes—just alcohol, juice, and ginger ale. The texture? Perfect. It’s almost impossible to find a slushie machine that can do that. Most machines need sugar to slush. This one doesn’t. And that alone makes it a must-have!
But what really won me over was the timer feature. You can prep everything in the morning—just pour in your ingredients and walk away. You can set the timer to either gently churn and chill your drink throughout the day, or let it rest at room temperature. When the countdown ends, it automatically kicks into slush mode—so your frozen drink is ready exactly when you are. Imagine walking in the door after work and your slushie is already waiting for you, perfectly chilled and ready to pour. It’s like having a Crock-Pot for cocktails!
And the best part? This thing is a full-on countertop showstopper. The new black design and glowing RGB display make it look like a piece of modern art—but the kind of art that serves frozen adult beverages. Guests always ask about it. And once they see it in action? They want one.
So yeah—this is more than a slushie machine. It’s a mini celebration that lives on your counter. And if you’re serious about entertaining or just want to treat yourself after a long day, it’s time to upgrade.
Want to be the hero of your next backyard bash? It’s simple: serve red, white, and blue slushies so good, your guests will swear you trained under Jimmy Buffett himself.
For Red – You can’t go wrong with a Strawberry Daiquiri. It’s the Tom Hanks of slushies—loved by everyone, no matter their age or political leaning. I’ve seen 5-year-olds chug these (virgin-style) like they’re training for the Olympics. I’ve watched a 90-year-old sip one and say, “This takes me back to ‘45 in Waikiki.” True story.
For White – Piña Colada. Icon. Legend. The most vacation-y flavor known to man. This one’s so good, your blender will quit out of shame when it realizes it can’t keep up.
For Blue – The Slushy Wave. My first ever 10 out of 10. A Blue Hawaiian so dangerously addictive, you’ll start questioning your life choices—like why you haven’t ordered it sooner.
Want all three? You should. Because if you order 6 bottles or more, shipping’s free. And let’s be real—I hate paying for shipping. I don’t care if it’s Amazon, Best Buy, or Margaritaman—free shipping feels like a win every single time.
So go grab your six. Use code MULTICASKING for 15% off. Your blender can take a break. Let the slushy machine—and these flavors—do the heavy lifting.
Land of the free, home of the slushie — chilled patriotism never goes out of style.
Not feeling the usual red, white, and blue lineup for this year’s 4th of July bash? Want to serve something unexpected that’ll stop your guests mid-sip and make them say, “What is this magic?” Then let me introduce you to the ultimate crowd-pleaser no one saw coming—the frozen Peach Bellini.
If the Mimosa had a fun-loving cousin who shows up to brunch in sunglasses and steals the show, it’d be this beauty. Light, bubbly, and bursting with peachy goodness, this cocktail is summer in slushy form—and it just might become your party’s new MVP.
Here’s the EcoViva 2L slushy machine recipe:
1½ cups Margarita Man® Peach concentrate (12 oz)
2½ cups water (20 oz)
1½ cups champagne (12 oz)
¾ cup white rum (6 oz)
⅜ cup peach schnapps (3 oz)
Toss it all in the EcoViva, set it to slush, and wait for the “oohs” and “ahhs.” It’s cold, fizzy, and dangerously delicious. Garnish with a mini umbrella or a slice of peach and serve with confidence—because this Bellini doesn’t just show up to the party, it becomes the party.
Vevor X-300 Peach Bellini Recipe
1 bottle (½ gal) – Margarita Man Peach concentrate
2 gallons – Water
2.25 L – Champagne (3 bottles)
750 ml – White rum
375 ml – Peach schnapps
Combine all ingredients in a large mixing container, stir vigorously (vent carefully to let champagne gas escape), then pour into your Vevor X-300 slushy machine.
Yields approximately 12.8 liters or 3.4 gallons – perfect for parties!
The One Thing Your 4th of July Party Can’t Be Without!
If there’s one trick I’ve learned from years of throwing backyard bashes, it’s this: details matter. Fireworks are great, smoked brisket is a win, but it’s the little things—like a red, white, and blue sugar-rimmed slushie—that guests talk about long after the sun sets.
That’s why I always keep a bottle of Snowy River’s Red, White & Blue Cocktail Sugar Rimmer on hand for the 4th. It’s not just sugar—it’s sparkle. It turns a kid’s cup into a firecracker. Turns a frozen lemonade into something Instagram-worthy. And turns your party from “just fine” to unforgettable.
I’ve used this stuff for themed birthdays, summer BBQs, and especially Independence Day. When you rim every glass with this patriotic blend, your slushie bar instantly becomes the centerpiece of the party. The fireworks might be in the sky—but the real show is in their cups!
The One Thing Your 4th of July Party Can’t Be Without!
Every summer, our backyard becomes a pepper patch—ghost, scorpion, reaper. It’s part garden, part dare. While most of those peppers end up in my rubs or bottled into small-batch sauces, a few have found their way into something unexpected: the slushie bar.
One summer, I rimmed a jalapeño margarita slushie with Lava’s Jalapeño Citrus Salt. That rim didn’t just spice things up—it stole the show. People kept coming back, not just for the slushie, but for that subtle pop of heat that somehow made the drink taste sweeter.
That’s when I discovered the full Lava Premium Cocktail Rimmers Variety Pack. Only two of the six rimmers pack any heat—Jalapeño Citrus Salt and Habanero Honey—but it’s just enough to keep things interesting. The others? Pure fun. You’ve got Lemon Drop Sugar for citrus lovers, Triple Berry Sugar for a punch of fruit, Chili Lime Classic for a tangy twist, and Margarita Lime for the traditionalists. It’s a mix-and-match dream.
This isn’t about burning your mouth—it’s about turning an ordinary drink into a signature moment. Whether it’s a spicy rim for your adult crowd or a sugar sparkle for the kids, this variety pack makes every cup the star of the party.
